We Make Your Song

How is it possible?

I probably wrote my first song when I was about 6 or 7 years old.
Since then I always wondered how it was possible to create so many different songs with only 7 notes.

Our first album came out in 2007, We Make Your Song was born. The first song of the album is still one of my favourites. It's called "Dans sa bulle" and it talks about my wife being pregnant of our first daughter.
Since then, I love writing songs, stories about events, feelings and silmple things of life that touches me and the people around me.  I'm very lucky to be surrounded by my musical family. I have the most talented wife, daughters and son and sometimes I think I live in a real musical :-)
My wife's artist name is Kate Dams and my daughters have a band called Elle Cee. Even my son started his singing career a few months ago :-) Watch it here.

 

Music connects

A bit later, a friend of mine asked me to write a song for the communion of her daughter.

We had a chat about how the song should sound and what words and phrases she liked. A few days later, the song "Ladybug" was born and she sang it live at the communion party in front of her daughter, what a beautiful moment it was. It became obvious to me that songs are a vehicle for emotions and that through lyrics and music, a true connection can be installed.
Next to writing songs and playing many instruments, I was drawn to the recording and producing part. 
In 2020 I graduated as a music producer, which for me closed the loop of a song, from imagining it to releasing it to the world.
